CARNIVAL CELEBRATION ANNOUCES NEW ENTERTAINMENT

Get excited! Carnival Celebration’s big debut from Miami is only a month away, and from what I hear she’ll be bringing new reasons to celebrate nights at sea with never-before-seen live entertainment! Onboard you can enjoy a collection of new main production shows, cutting-edge technology, and next-level talent that will dazzle them every evening.  From aerialist acts, to game shows, parties, and events. Carnival Celebration will offer elevated and engaging presentations, upbeat vibes, energetic music, playful choreography, colorful scenes, and tons of fun.

THE MOST MAGNIFICENT CIRCUS

A story of celebrating self-discovery and acceptance will unfold to reimagined popular hits as a big-top circus comes to life. Taking talent to new heights – literally – wire-rigged performers will showcase their skills leaving the stage behind to soar above and beyond the audience, creating action in every direction. Guests will adventure through a fully immersive theatrical circus experience as the most extravagant aerialist show in the fleet uses all of the ship’s high-flying capabilities to the max, with mesmerizing trapeze, chair, chandelier, hoop, ladder, and mirror aerial performances throughout.

COLOR MY WORLD

Romance will be in the air as a popular artist and his assistant go on a journey of love through art and color. The artistic love story will blend fun dance styles such as street jazz, hip-hop, musical theater, and ballet with the best songs from indie rock and pop genres. Combining different mediums of art to create a visually captivating experience, this vibrant and colorful show will feature live painting on stage with music and choreography to match.

THE VISUAL SYMPHONY

Starting in December….As the name suggests, this innovative show will use the Celebration Central’s 16 massive moving LED screens, lasers, and classical rock music to create a high-tech visual masterpiece. Pushing the boundaries of theatrical performances, the show will take full advantage of the cutting-edge technology and special effects in Celebration Central’s three-deck-high space. As the LED walls’ content is synced with the choreographed lighting designs, the elevated multimedia experience will deliver an extraordinary live performance.

RIO CARNIVAL

Starting in May, this vibrant and high-energy Brazilian extravaganza will have guests moving their hips in a parade and celebration of music and dance as the cast performs authentic samba, bossa nova, marchinha, batudada, forro, carimbo, and capoeira to some of the most famous Latin pop songs of all time in both in Portuguese and English.

That’s not all, in addition to Color My World, Playlist Productions will present the enchanting Celestial Strings and Cuban-meets-Latin Amor Cubano shows as well as Center Stage’s festival-inspired We Are One performance.

CARNIVAL CRUISE LINE UPDATES PROTOCOLS

Carnival Cruise Line will participate in CDC Cruise updates; Provides updates to Guests

MIAMI, Feb. 18, 2022 – Carnival Cruise Line confirmed that it will participate in the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) updated program for cruise ships operating in U.S. waters, and is advising guests of the following changes:

Effective with cruises departing Mar. 1, masks on board will be recommended but not required.  There may, however, be certain venues and events where masks will be required. 

Carnival will continue to meet the standard of vaccinated cruises, but children under five years old will not be included in any vaccinated guest calculation, and thus will not be required to receive an exemption to sail.

“We have had a very successful restart of guest operations thanks to the support of our guests, the commitment of our shipboard team, and the effective protocols we have put in place,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line.  “The public health situation has continued to improve, providing confidence about these changes.  Our protocols will evolve as we continue to remain dedicated to protecting the public health of our guests, crew and the communities we visit.”

Duffy said that Carnival’s highest responsibility and top priority is always compliance, environmental protection, and the health, safety and well-being of our guests, the people in the communities we touch and serve, and our shipboard and shoreside personnel. “We appreciate the ongoing collaboration among multiple government agencies, as well as the support of Alaska officials and other delegations,” she added.

CARNIVAL CRUISE LINES MAKE SHIP CHANGES & ADDS NEW ITINERARIES…

As Carnival Cruise Lines starts playing dancing with the ships with the 2021 itineraries, a couple major changes will be starting with the Pride which has been sailing from Baltimore for several years, will now relocate to Tampa taking on the Legends scheduled sailings to the Western Caribbean starting Nov 14, 2021 and the Carnival Legend will relocate to Europe for some unique sailings and then return to her new homeport of Baltimore on November 14, 2021.

The Legend will take on some unique itineraries as she explores Europe.  She will head overseas starting with a 15-day TA with port stops in Nassau, Bermuda, Ponta Delgado, Malaga, and Valencia and end up in Barcelona. She will then start a variety of unique itineraries sailing from Barcelona, Rome, and London.   Here are a few of the highlighted itineraries the Legend will offer:

 ~ SAILINGS FROM LONDON:

9-day Norwegian Fjords sailings on June 4th & July 16th,  9-day British Isles sailings on June 25th & August 6th,  9-day Western Europe sailing on August 27th,  12- day Iceland and British Isles sailings on June 13th & July 4th,  12-day Scandinavia and Russia sailings on July 25th & August 15th 

  ~  SAILING FROM BARCELONA:

 8- day Mediterranean sailings on May 17th & October 23rd, 10-day Western Europe sailing on May 25th

~ SAILING FROM ROME:

8 and 9-day Mediterranean sailings on September 15th & October 15th,  10-day Greek Island and Italy sailings on September 5th & 24th with the additional port of Corfu added to October 4th sailing to make it an 11-day itinerary
