PARADISE BEACH CLUB ~ COZUMEL

We spent a lovely day at Paradise Beach Club while visiting Cozumel as one of our port stops on our Carnival Breeze cruise.

Overall it was a great day. First it was only $3 to enter although you do have to purchase $10 in food or drink to use the facilities as well which was easy to do. You have full access to the beach and pool area with the exception of the inflatables in the ocean. If you want to use those, there is an additional $18pp charge.

The food was very good and the drinks were very tasty as well. They have a fairly large menu of food and drink selections to choose from along with a hot dog wagon on the beach, where you can purchase several different kinds of hot dogs for only $3.50 each.

We took a 10 minute taxi ride to the beach club from the port and arrived around 10:00am. It was not crowded, only a few people around the pool area and the beach was virtually empty. We had the pick of the chairs. We chose to relax around the pool area instead of the beach. We felt the pool chairs would fill up more quickly, so wanted to grab our prime chairs. Everything was very clean around the pool and the beach. The ocean water was clear and calm.

Later in the day the beach and pool filled up but still never felt overly crowded.

They have bathrooms, changing room, and showers down a short walkway. A couple small souvenir stores at the entrance along with one along the beach.  They also have a bar at the beach area as well as next to the pool.  Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

We had several drinks, appetizers and pepperoni pizza and our bill was reasonable. The pizza was very extremely good.

This was our 2nd time here and we will be back. It was a very relaxing day. There was music playing, but not so loud that you couldn’t talk over it. It was the perfect mix of fun and relaxation.
